East Sweden Innovation Week

Week 45 is East Sweden Innovation Week which for the eleventh time is arranged, East Sweden’s week with innovation and entrepreneurship in focus are arranged by Norrköping and Linköping’s Science Parks.

East Sweden Innovation Week is a week where we show all the fantastic things that are happening in Östergötland and that make East Sweden a more innovative part of the world.

During this week you can meet some of Östergötland’s leading innovators and be inspired by the country’s sharpest entrepreneurs, together with all other committed inspirers and inventors, innovators, students and researchers, entrepreneurs and business representatives, clusters and business incubators, municipalities and associations. Together, we contribute to creative innovation environments, a strong business climate and good growth in Östergötland.

You can take part in a variety of activities with the theme of innovation and entrepreneurship throughout Östergötland between 8 and 14 November.

The week is arranged by Region Östergötland in close collaboration with Linköping University, Norrköping Science Park, Norrköping Municipality, Science Park Mjärdevi, Linköping Municipality, Almi, Länsstyrelsen Östergötland and Östsvenska Handelskammaren.

IBG participation at East Sweden Innovation week

Kim Silander, founder of the Independent Business Group (IBG), will talk about the communication and transport infrastructure of the future as well as the use of the lower airspace and drone services as part of the logistics system of the future in the transport-efficient society. The seminar provides an insight and understanding of how an infrastructure can both save the environment, costs and generate revenue for municipalities and regions and how it can be weighed into the planning work.

Furthermore, Aishwarya Raghunatha, PhD student at IBG, will provide insights into the potential of drones for future transports from a scientific point of view and discuss her ongoing research that develops basic knowledge to implement UAM from a systems perspective.
